About Us

As a horse lover and a mother we have done research and determine that there is a requirement for our services.

We are based in Midrand, Glen Austen on a Small holding and have set up an equestrian centre.

So how do our services enable you through the pony purchase process?

It is quite simple. Our approach to map children and ponies is based on a number of unique key principles that should provide you, the parents, with peace of mind that you deserve.

1.  Our core focus is on the SA Boer perd and specifically the A2 bloodline because of the temperament and reliability of these exceptional ponies. We have a long term relationship with the breeder of the Harmonie stud who produces steadfast ponies that can be used confidently by young riders.

2.  We buy all our horses.  We do not trade or play middle man but rather invest in ponies we have evaluated and assessed.  We then spend time schooling them and competing on them to confirm their readiness to move on.

3.  We take the time to get to know and understand the temperament; vices and strengths of the pony, what type of rider better suits them and what motivates them to perform.  We do this by working with the ponies and by involving animal behaviour list, Christie J V Rensburg,

4.  Where possible we will ensure that they are safe enough for our own children to ride (9 and 10 years old) before we consider selling them on.  If they are more pony than our children’s experience levels can cope with we will disclose this information so that you are well positioned to make the right assessment on the pony.

5.  We intend to grade the more competitive show jumping ponies and compete with them up to 80cm. Our son of 10 years will compete for a few months on the pony in order to establish a history.

6.  We intend to compete at a prelim 1;2 and 3 the more completive dressage ponies.  Dressage scores and results will be kept on file for the future owners records.

7.  The SA BP ponies will compete in the relevant showing classes.

8.  We will also spend time getting to know your child, evaluate their riding style and their current riding capabilities.  In doing so we are better equipped to map a pony that will best suit their needs and skills level.

9.  You will be given a half an hour introduction to your new pony which will be facilitated by Christie J V Rensburg in order to provide you with tips and advice on how to manage your new pony.  Any follow up sessions will be at your own cost.

10.  All ponies will be sold with a basic vetting certifcate. Any additional vetting requirements will be for your own account.
